This elearning session supports healthcare professionals working in cancer care to understand the registration, enhanced and enhanced towards advanced (reta) levels of practice within the aspirant cancer career and education development (accend) programme. Learners gain knowledge of the accend career pathway, core capabilities in practice (cips), education framework, self-assessment approaches, role profiles and career development opportunities including the course finder and implementation guidance. Targeted at registered nurses, allied health professionals, clinical educators, therapeutic radiographers, dietitians, physiotherapists, occupational therapists and other cancer care practitioners, the session helps learners identify their level of practice, plan professional development and apply the accend framework to cancer services.
