270 Basic Life Support Theory

Theory training for the Basic Life Support run by NHFT to be done in tandem with the 15 minute practical assessment to gain the Basic Life Support competencies.
  • This includes current CPR protocols for adults and children, including the use of a pocket mask and automated external defibrillator (AED). The course also covers DNACPR, choking, the recovery position, and where necessary the use of ligature cutters.
