- In accordance with SWASFT clinical guidelines, list clinical features associated with pulmonary embolism (G0460 v12.15).
- Using case-based scenarios, identify the relevance of syncope and anxiety when differentiating pulmonary embolism as a potential diagnosis (G0460 v12.15; G0320 v11.17)
- In accordance with SWASFT clinical guidelines, effectively apply the WELLS pulmonary embolism scoring tool (G0460 v12.15).
- Have an awareness of certain biases that can negatively affect clinical decision making (Nickson, C. 2016)
- In accordance with SWASFT clinical guidelines, identify a suitable management plan for a group of patients with the potential diagnosis of pulmonary embolism (G0460 v12.15; SWASFT CG34 v1.0)
