Patient Safety in Organ Donation and Transplantation
This module provides an introduction to patient safety and clinical governance for Recipient Transplant Coordinators and Living Donor Coordinators. It will help to identify patient safety issues within the specialist area of organ donation and transplantation, and detail how to report the issues to NHSBT. The course illustrates how concerns are investigated and how teams can learn from incidents to improve patient safety.
