Learning Objectives:

  1. Identify & describe the hardware components of the LifeX CROP.
  2. Log on and log off LifeX Dispatcher.
  3. Identify and describe the functions of the LifeX status bar, user menu & audio settings.
  4. Use LifeX functions to select functional area of responsibility and monitor associated talk groups to radio subscribers.
  5. Use LifeX radio module to undertake group calls/general broadcast calls.
  6. Use LifeX conversation module to manage and answer incoming call requests.
  7. Use LifeX resource group module to complete individual radio calls.
  8. Use LifeX intercom module to complete individual intercom calls.
  9. Use LifeX shortcuts modules to complete telephone calls.
  10. Demonstrate process for management of an emergency radio alarm.
  11. Use the LifeX search module to search for contacts & radio subscribers in the LifeX database.
  12. Use LifeX radio module to manually add a Talk Group to the radio module.
  13. Identify and describe the layout and functions of the LifeX history module.
  14. Identify and describe the layout and functions of the LifeX messages module.
  15. Identify and describe the layout and functions of the LifeX map module as per system specifications.
