Register a Direct Admission to AMU, SAU, CAU & B11
An Ambulatory Care Tariff patient could be any patient sent from aGP or another source where a clinical decision to observe the patient has been made. If the observed patient then needs to be admitted, either because of a clinical decision or they have been in observation for more than 24 hours, then the observation will need to be converted into an Inpatient.
