As part of a review of the undergraduate medical curriculum at King’s College London, a module preparing students to undertake a quality improvement project (QIP) was developed.In this paper, we aim to share key lessons about designing and implementing a quality improvement (QI) module and open debate about the relationship between scholarship, curriculum development and the experiences of students and faculty.
