Course Details:
Audience: Clinical Staff
Duration: 30 minutes
By the end of this programme you will be able to:
- Describe your responsibilities when performing a 12 lead ECG
- Summarise why ECGs are performed
- Explain the functions of the heart and its electrical activity
- Interpret wave forms on an ECG reading
- Illustrate correct electrode placement
- Identify what a normal ECG reading should look like
This theoretical programme is followed by a practical session, in which you will learn how to perform the skill of recording a high quality ECG.
