Audience: Doctors, Advanced Nurse Practitioners etc. in line with policy and clinical governance

Duration: 40 minutes

Objectives:

  • Login to Healthviews and search for a patient
  • Open ePMA using "patient summary"
  • "Edit" a patients height and weight
  • View medication information "using reference viewer"
  • Add and remove/edit an "alert"
  • Add and remove/edit an "allergy"
  • Prescribe a "VTE" for Medical and surgical patients aged 16+
  • "Prescribe" in 5 different ways as below
    • "Medications on admission"
    • "Transfer from"
    • "Protocols"
    • "Quick lists"
    • "Prescribe"
  • "Edit a medication"
  • "Cease a medication"
  • Select medications for discharge "TTO"
  • Complete a "Handover of Care Communication" aka "Discharge Summary"
  • Complete a minor "amendment" to an existing "Handover of Care Communication"
  • "Roll back" a "Handover of Care Communication" for large amendments including changes to medications.
  • "Exit" the system using "logout"
