Course Details:
Audience: ST3 and above
Duration: 1 hour
Prior knowledge:
- Prior experience and understanding of Individualised End of Life care planning
- Knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act
Objectives:
- To gain an understanding of the of the unified do not attempt resuscitation decisionmaking process
- To discuss the importance of effective communication with the patient, relatives andother health care professionals
- To be able to apply theTrust uDNACPR policy into clinical practice
- To be able to complete theTrust uDNACPR form correctly
- To be aware of other guidance/help available to assist in the decision makingprocess
