Audience: Catering staff

Learning Objectives:
- Discuss the importance of food safety
- List the relevant legislation that needs to be complied with
- State your responsibilities as a food handler
- Describe the causes of food poisoning
- Be aware of cross contamination
- List four high risk foods
- Be aware of the temperature required for safe storage preparation and service of food
- List four food pests
