Audience:Neonatal Staff, Maternity & Paediatrics
Duration:30 - 45 minutes
Learning Objectives:
- Indicate the basic physiological process
- Recognise the baby at risk and identify the associated problems if treatment is not initiated appropriately
- Identify the difference between physiological and pathological jaundice
- Know how to care for the baby, including equipment checks
- Establish the specific investigations and monitoring required by the baby
