Values Elicitation Exercise

Not yet rated

Values are a culture's standard for discerning what is good and just in society. Values are deeply embedded and critical for transmitting and teaching a culture's beliefs. Beliefs are the tenets or convictions that people hold to be true.

Your values will have an inherent impact on the way you support learners in practice, knowing yourself and understanding other people's values (why they may behave the way they do) will help you to be a great Educator.

This exercise will help you to understand the priorities that motivate you to be an Educator in Practice. Do compare your responses with the Educator Profile.

Consider reflecting your answers with colleagues and/or other learners to share ideas and experiences.
