To diagnose low grade squamous dyskaryosis:

first decide that the nuclear chromatin is abnormal i.e dyskaryotic.

The dyskaryotic nucleus is typically in a mature large superficial / intermidate squamous cell and the nuclear to cytoplasmic diameter ratio is less than 50%.
