This course covers key aspects of medicines management including prescribing of medicines, administration of medicines, management of controlled drugs, patient group directions, patient identification, reporting of medication incidents, adverse drug reactions, safe storage and security of medicines, disposal of medicines and licensed and unlicensed medicines. The course also covers common errors and themes that form part of medicines management.
