This general level 2 course in safeguarding introduces the learner to advancedtopics in safeguarding including: harmful practices such as female genital mutilation, the Mental Capacity Act, the Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS);mental health, domestic abuse, PREVENT awareness; supporting patients with additional needs, managing challenging behaviour, the multi-agency referral form (MARF) and safeguarding children.
