MetaboLights: the home for metabolomics experiments and derived information

Not yet rated

MetaboLights is a database for metabolomics experiments and derived information. The database is cross-species, cross-technique and covers metabolite structures and their reference spectra as well as their biological roles, locations and concentrations, and experimental data from metabolic experiments. It is the recommended metabolomics data repository for several leading journals.

This webinar will introduce metabolomics data and the MetaboLights resource, including how to submit, access and search relevant data.

Who is this course for?

This webinar is for anyone who would like to learn about MetaboLights, and is interested in studying metabolites and metabolomics. No prior knowledge of bioinformatics is required, but an undergraduate-level knowledge of biology would be an advantage.

Outcomes

By the end of the webinar you will be able to:

  • Describe what MetaboLights is
  • Navigate the MetaboLights website
  • Identify what MetaboLights can be used for
