Iron Deficiency Anaemia is a common presentation to gastroenterology. In this Masterclass video, Prof Reena Sidhu, current BSG Education Chair and co-author of theupdated BSG guidelines on IDA, runs through a clinical case to discuss when, how, and when not to investigate IDA. The role of FIT in IDA, non-anaemic iron deficiency, anaemia in the elderly and in those with chronic heart failure, and recurrent anaemia are explored.
