NHSE TEL Support: Medicines Optimisation 3: Supporting Patients Take Their Medicine
This is module 3 of the medicines optimisation online training programme. This module provides a general and brief overview of patients taking medicines and the risks involved. It focuses on patient safety issues, roles and responsibilities and understanding how medicines can affect patients. It introduces the basic concepts of safety in administration to all staff new to working with medicines.
This module offers support for learning or revision along with a variety of extra learning materials including case studies, activities, factsheets and reflective exercises.
