Allied Health Professions' Support Worker Strategy Impact Evaluation
The AHP support workforce programme provides a range of resources designed to assist services to optimise the contribution of this important part of the workforce. Ensuring that the capacity and capability of the support workforce is maximised, so staff can reach their full potential, will deliver benefits for support workers, registered staff, services, Trusts and, most importantly, service users. This evaluation, which is based on the insights of an expert group and a review of research, sets out in detail the benefits that might be expected, including from implementing apprenticeships. It can be used to help build local business cases.
