Safer staffing and quality of care
Certificate available: complete this course to be awarded a certificate
This session provides a broad introduction exploring the links between safer staffing and patient and staff outcomes.
It is part of a series on this subject that can be undertaken in any order for all healthcare staff, particularly nurses and midwives new into management posts or workforce roles but should also be helpful for anyone seeking to learn more about the fundamental principles for safer staffing within the NHS.
The session aims to equip learners with the essential knowledge required to understand what quality care is, how this is impacted by staffing levels, how we measure quality and how and when these should be monitored.
