Cheshire and Merseyside AHP Faculty Placement Educators Toolkit - Introduction

Cheshire and Merseyside AHP Faculty’s Practice EducatorToolkit was developed by clinical educators, for clinical educators. The Toolkit contains strategies and tools that practice educators can use to increase the number of students they have on placement while providing a high-quality learning environment. This Toolkit was designed as part of the Cheshire and Merseyside’s AHP Clinical Placement Expansion Programme (CPEP). CPEP aims to increase the number of AHP students on placement in Cheshire and Merseyside. Within the Toolkit there are a number of tools that can be found on the learning hub.These tools can be used in full or part to support clinicians in offering a more rounded placement indicative of what post-registration life is like ensuring preregistration students have a better understanding of the workforce they are entering and where their career might take them.
