Technical Knowledge Part 1
This session will cover the technical components of the capsule endoscopy (CE) procedure. It will familiarise the learner with types of capsule endoscope and the equipment used to perform it. It will introduce the common indications for CE and also provide key information regarding contraindications to CE and how to assess and mitigate any risks as well as providing information about the limitations of CE and potential ways to modify these.
