Absconding Patients Training
For Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust (NLaG) employees only. Tailored to local policies and procedures.
This learning will provide staff on the wards and particularly in our emergency departments with guidance of high risk patients within our Trust and management of absconding. The training will also be valuable to operational senior staff and our security team. The training does not refer to section 2 or section 3 of the Mental Health Act. Staff are advised to consult the MHA Standard operating procedures for the Mental Health Act at DPOW and SGH for guidance specific to these sections. The training videos have been developed by Capsticks Solicitors.
