6.2 E-Patient Scenario 2C
The purpose of this e-patient scenario is to help you enhance your clinical reasoning. You will be presented with an unfolding case study of a 70 year old patient seen in Orthoptics over a number of visits. Please work through all sections of the scenario in the order they are presented.
Learning Aims:
- Consider the urgent presentation of a new adult patient and suggest possible aetiology
- Decide what further tests should be done to ensure a thorough investigation
- Consider all possible differential diagnoses
- Based on your findings, make a diagnosis and formulate an appropriate management plan
