Motivational Interviewing & Supporting change work
This eLearning narrated powerpoint is an introduction to Motivational Interviewing as a tool that anyone, in any role, can use as part of a strengths-based approach to practice and working and even outside work, in our daily lives. Motivational interviewing uses a guiding style of communication to engage people, clarify their strengths and aspirations as motivators for change and promote autonomy in decision making. Further training will be available via the LWSW Training Team for applied Motivational Interviewing for front line health and social care in the near future.
