The Helen Bamber Foundation supports survivors of extreme human cruelty who have been subjected to state-sponsored torture, human trafficking, religious and political persecution, forced labour, sexual exploitation, gender-based and ‘honour-based’ violence.

This session introduces the work of the Helen Bamber Foundation, the scale of modern slavery and human trafficking, and summarises how to apply trauma-informed care when working with survivors.
