Oasis Youth workers provide support based in A and E at Guy’s and St. Thomas’s Hospital (Waterloo, London) and are helping young people to find their way out of knife and gang crime, and other forms of violence.

This session provides an introduction to the work of Oasis Youth support, the experiences of the young people they encounter in A&E and some thoughts on safeguarding and communication in a hospital setting from young people who have presented for treatment following a violent episode and subsequently been supported by Oasis.
