Learning Disabilities and Autism - Condition Awareness and Best Practice in the Ambulance Service: Reasonable adjustment
Learning Disability and Autism are two of the most prevalent health inequalities in the UK. NWAS is committed to look at ways it can help to reduce health inequalities and make its services more accessible to these patient cohorts. Expanding our knowledge base of complexed conditions will enhance our patient management skills, assuring equity in our services. Often, we can be the gateway to more specialist care so a better understanding and awareness of these conditions can make a huge difference.
