Medicine Management for Hospital Based Administrators
By the end of the programme you will:
- Have read and understood the NCA medicines policy.
- Be able to state what to do in the case of an error and an adverse drug reaction.
- Know where to access relevant medicines policies e.g. the controlled drugs policy.
- Demonstrate you can successfully calculate relevant drug calculations.
- Demonstrate you can safely administer medication in line with Trust policy (via a post course practical assessment).
- Know who to contact and how, if support is needed.
- Know how to handle, store and administer medicines safely and according to NCA guidelines and policy.
