Preceptorship Organisational Self-Assessment Tool webinar
Following the publication in November 2023 of the NHS England AHP Preceptorship Standards and Framework we are pleased to announce that the Self-Assessment Tools for Organisations and Systems are now available within the AHP Preceptorship Toolkit The AHP Preceptorship Organisational Self-Assessment Tool and the AHP Preceptorship System Self-Assessment Tool have been established to support the review, evaluation and continuous development of AHP Preceptorship at an organisation and system level. This supports the publications of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) Principles for Preceptorship and NHSEngland’s AHP Preceptorship Standards and Framework. These self-assessment tools aim to standardise AHP Preceptorship delivery across England through the implementation of a consistent set of Preceptorship standards and best practice requirements as outlined in the AHP Preceptorship Implementation Framework. These tools will enable organisations and systems to utilise a progression model in the form of a maturity matrix to evaluate organisational or system level progress with AHP Preceptorship byevaluating their current preceptorship offer for AHPs against the NHS England AHP Preceptorship Standards and Framework, performing a gap analysis, linking evidence of achievement andhighlight and prioritise the opportunities for improvement.
