This course is designed to follow on from the accompanying introduction to congenital heart disease. The course will provide a broad introduction to the subject of the acutely ill adult patient with congenital heart disease. This will include an appreciation of how adult patients with CHD present acutely, initial management and when and where to seek expert advice.
