The Supported Return to Training (SuppoRTT) programme aims to enable doctors returning to clinical training following a period of prolonged absence to regain their confidence and clinical skills quickly and safely, thereby enhancing trainee wellbeing and patient safety.

SuppoRTT funding is available for all doctors in England, with a Foundation or National Training Number, who have had a period of 3months or more out of training.
