This course aims to increase healthcare professionals’ awareness of patients who should be considered at risk of myeloma and support them to undertake the appropriate investigations and interpret the results.
The module follows the fictional story of June, 70, who has returned to her GP for a scheduled medication review but is experiencing new pains.
Specialist interviews throughout the module include discussions about the presentation of myeloma, symptom awareness and appropriate investigations, alongside interactive knowledge checks and a broader look at communication techniques to support patient understanding.
