We all know that accessibility requirements are important, but do we appreciate the impact that these simple changes can have on learners? Join us to hear and participate in an open discussion on the unique experiences of learning through the lens of neurodiversity.
Our discussion panel of TEL practitioners talk about their own experiences as neurodivergent learners and educators.
The session aims to:
- Deepen understanding of neurodiversity in TEL
- Provide a safe space to ask those questions you want to know, but don’t know where to ask
- Identify strategies and accommodations to make your content more accessible to a wider group of people
- Give you confidence to seek feedback on the accessibility of your work
- Start an ongoing dialogue within the TEL Network about neurodiversity
The session will be recorded so that those who were unable to attend can benefit from the learning. Regional TEL Network members can catch up on previously held CPD sessions on the Regional TEL Networks catalogue on the Learning Hub.
