SABP Information Governance and Data Security

Not yet rated

Information Governance ensures people know what data can be safely shared, why it can be shared and with who/how it can be shared while keeping it secure. This course ensures that Surrey and Borders Partnership NHSTrust (SABP) as a trust and as individuals are aware of the responsibilities under the Caldecott Principles, National Data Guardian: 10 Data Security Standards and under current data protection legislation and comply with them.

By doing so, the aim is to ensure our staff, people who use our services, our carers and volunteers information is kept safe and confidential, and that it is shared when appropriate to achieve better outcomes for patients.
