This session will explore how keyworking should encompass a human rights approach to ensure that autistic children and young people with a learning disability can achieve the best outcomes.

Chapters within the session outline how keyworkers can discharge their obligations under the Human Rights Act, how to frame conversations with system partners about human rights, some of the risk factors to upholding human rights for children and young people and how to put in place strategies that mitigate against these risks.
