There are growing numbers of UK strategy documents which outline the importance of digital healthcare and, of particular importance for radiology, artificial intelligence (AI). Implementation science approaches acknowledge the importance of both strategy and culture influencing AI adoption and implementation. Staff training and education, knowledge, skills, competence, and confidence in AI are influenced by these concepts.
