Skills for Personalised Care Conversations - Antenatal Virtual Patient Scenario

This interactive, online training scenario aims to improve your understanding of the tools and techniques that help enable personalised care and demonstrates how to integrate personalised care into everyday practice. In this exercise, you are a maternity team member in an antenatal appointment with a service user. This scenario has a focus on personalised conversations, rather than the clinical situation. This is to help you to build skills and techniques that will improve the conversations you have with service users. The aim is to enable conversations that are personalised, to ensure each person's care is in line with their needs and preferences. The scenario will take around 15 minutes to complete.

You will shortly be greeting Leela Thomas for her 28 week antenatal appointment.
