Supporting Learners to Raise Concerns
Resource details
London is a vibrant and diverse learning environment for 21 NHS professional groups of learners based in over 17 universities undertaking placement learning across 35 NHS Trusts and primary care settings in 5 ICBs. Learners from multiple universities, over the course of their programme, rotate between multiple NHS organisations and settings each with their own policy and process for raising concerns.
For this reason, a regional multi-professional task and finish group was convened to collaboratively, across universities and placement providers, review and develop a streamlined process that clearly identifies how students can raise concerns.
This catalogue has been created to provide a resource for university and placement partners to allow them to consider how to raise, discuss and address placement concerns with learners.
