Eating disorder training for medical students, trainees and doctors
Development of teaching packs for 2-day training programmes in eating disorders and the provision of these packs free-of-charge to support medical and foundation schools to deliver effective education and assessment to students and trainees, with the objectives of increasing competence in the medical workforce, encouraging more students and trainees to choose psychiatry and, most importantly, increasing early identification and treatment of eating disorders and so reducing the risk of avoidable deaths.
