Our Talk Cancer workshops are positive, practical and interactive. We provide you with tips, resources and ongoing support to help you have more effective conversations about health and cancer.

To make our training accessible to everyone, we provide a free, online workshop every quarter for individuals to sign up to. You can find the next available date and sign up here.

From all our workshops, trainees will benefit from learning how to:

• discuss general cancer awareness information and separate cancer myths from facts​​
• guide people on how they can reduce their risk of developing cancer​​
• help people understand the importance of spotting cancer early and the national cancer screening programmes available​​
• encourage people to be aware of what’s normal for their body, and to take action if they notice anything unusual​​
• have effective, supportive conversations about health in general​

Our trainers will host the interactive session, suitable for anyone wanting to build their confidence and skills to have supportive conversations with others about reducing their risk of cancer, the importance of spotting cancer early and making healthy changes. These conversations have the power to save lives.
