Are you part of an organisation, group or community who could benefit from cancer awareness training?

Our Talk Cancer group workshops are perfect for upskilling groups of individuals working in an organisation, similar roles, or in a similar region. Through our interactive workshops we provide youwith tips, resources and support to help youhave more effective conversations about health and cancer.

Developed and delivered by experienced health professionals, with content grounded in the latest evidence, our training programme includes face-to-face and online workshop options to suit various audiences, needs and accessibility.

We want our training to be accessible to everyone, so we also offer a bursary scheme for a free face-to-face oronline workshops to eligible groups.

When booking a Talk Cancer group workshop, you get a dedicated team who will take the time to understand your needs and those of your audience to ensure that we can help you get the most from our training.

From all our workshops, youwill benefit from learning how to:

  • discuss general cancer awareness information and separate cancer myths from facts​​
  • guide people on how they can reduce their risk of developingcancer​​
  • help people understand the importance of spotting cancer early and the national cancer screening programmes available​​
  • encourage people to be aware of what’s normal for their body, and to take action if they notice anything unusual​​
  • have effective, supportive conversations about health in general​

Our Talk Cancer workshops equip you with the knowledge andconfidence to have conversations around reducing cancer risk and spotting cancer early – helping us to work together to beat cancer.
