Understanding your values is key to being able to plan your career. Your values are things that really matter to you. Your values give your life direction. Values are choices that direct your behaviour.
You may be clear about some of your values and others may be operating at a more subconscious level. Understanding and exploring your values in line with the work you do, or want to do, can help ensure you make the right career decisions and get the right ‘fit’ for you.
Use the list as a starting point and tick the values that resonate with you. The list is not comprehensive and please do not be limited by the values included. This list is to give you a starting point to help think through what is important to you.
