MedicAlert UK is the first and only medical ID charity in the UK, however, medical IDs as a whole are commonly used in the UK for people living with medical conditions, allergies and are on chronic medications. It is beneficial for NHS staff and other healthcare professionals to be aware of this tool and use it to ensure their patient is treated correctly in an emergency.
