Advancing Practice in the South East region: A Guide to Implementing and Funding Advanced Practice - 2025/26

This guide is designed for use by South East regional health & social care employers, organisational and primary care training hub advancing practice leads, service leads, managers, advancing practice supervisors, current and aspirant advancing practice trainees and those who support them in practice.

The guide outlines the SE Advancing Practice Faculty advancing practice training funding offers available to South East regional employers to support their advancing practice workforce development. There is alsoan extensive FAQ section which details the requirements thatemployers need to fullfill when requesting funding from the SE Advancing Practice Faculty, as well the criteria for supervision and governance that must be in placein order for employers to fully and safely suport advanced practice within their services.
