Multiprofessional Differential Attainment Toolkit
Resource details
Purpose
The toolkit was developed by the NHS England Professional Support Unit, in collaboration with the Workforce, Training & Education Directorate, and stakeholders from NHS Providers and Higher Education Institutes from across London. The toolkit was derived from the Differential Attainment Toolkit for Doctors at the request and support of the Pan London Education Alliance, recognising this is illustrative of an issue that potentially impacts all healthcare professions. It was comprehensively evaluated in 2023 by City University London and refreshed in 2024 by The Differential Attainment Task & Finish Group.
How to Use the Toolkit
The toolkit contains 5 chapters of resources for facilitators to use with clinical educators and supervisors from different healthcare professions. It can be delivered to groups of educators as a suite of resources or targeted at specific interventions. It is intended to stimulate discussion and support participants' knowledge of differential attainment.
