This e-learning programme will cover the importance of oral health,including a 'liftthe lip' mouth check for children and young people in secure settings. Alongside this, how to recognise problems in the mouth and provide advice on effective mouth care. It describes the mouth check, a tool used to assist in prioritising care, alongside how to support CYP within these settings regarding diet,oral hygiene and recognising the importance of trauma informed practice.
