This training aims to enhance the knowledge and skills of staff who prepare or serve food to patients or work with patients on food and nutrition.
Proper nutrition is essential for managing conditions such as diabetes, obesity, and malnutrition.
Well-trained staff can provide accurate dietary advice to help manage diseases and improve patient outcomes.
Nutrition is also important for recovery from illnesses.
Knowledgeable staff can ensure patients receive the right dietary support for faster recovery.

Part 2will be conducted in a classroom setting with practical training, covering nutrition support for malnutrition, nutrition in dementia, and basics of texture modified diets (IDDSI).
