Session 3 – Introduction to the PEEP pedagogical principles
Certificate available: complete this course to be awarded a certificate
Welcome to session 3, where we will be exploring the PEEP pedagogical fundamentals.
There are a number of key PEEP pedagogical principles that support the learning journey for the learners completing a PEEP. We will take you through these principles one by one, outlining their importance to the whole PEEP learning experience for the learners. The workplace requires individuals to be able to work with others and, increasingly, online. The opportunity for learners to experience an online work-based learning placement such as a PEEP within an evidence-based peer group delivery offers the opportunity for learners to develop crucial attributes. Time needs to be spent on the design and delivery of peer group learning to maximise the benefits that are achieved.
